The design
A painterly patterned carpet in blues, greys and cream runs the length of every corridor. The woven, brushstroke pattern hides everyday wear and makes long halls feel warmer and shorter. Inside the doorways, a warm wood-look plank takes over.
The work
The carpet was cut in at every doorway and around the wainscot and handrail returns, meeting the plank with a clean, flush transition.
