The design
A striated carpet tile in gray with streaks of violet runs through the whole center. Its linear pattern pulls the long, open room together, and its cool tones set off the bright red, blue and magenta furniture and the warm wood accent wall.
The work
The center is one large open space with glass offices along its edges. The carpet was laid in long runs across the room and cut cleanly to every glass partition before the furniture went in.
