Overview

A large former retail space in Lauderhill turned into offices and public service areas for the Florida Department of Health. CIC installed the flooring and painted the space, so the open floor plan reads as one bright, organized office instead of an old store.

The design

Grey carpet in a herringbone pattern runs through the main aisles and work areas, with lighter patterned carpet in meeting rooms. Walls and columns were painted in strong blue and green accents against white, marking departments and service areas across the big open floor.

The work

The scale set the tone: long, wide-open runs where the herringbone had to stay straight from one end of the building to the other. CIC handled both the painting and the flooring, with new vinyl base throughout.
