Our team at CIC learned this after completing a project at the Broward Traffic Engineering Operations building. Being a facility that is open 24/7, it can be tricky to maneuver around the building without disrupting day-to-day operations. With this being a main concern for our client, we had to ensure we had a complete game plan to complete this project to address all of our clients needs while ensuring minimal disruption.
Our client was worried by potential disruption caused by the renovation, so we created a master plan to conduct work during the overnight shift, meaning less traffic, as well as remain in constant contact with employees to ensure minimal disruption. Having our team start this 4,000 yard turn-key installation under the overnight shift was tricky, but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle! We moved furniture, crawled under desks, and worked nonstop around the staff to get the job done.
Being a high-security building, we understood the need for clear communication as we were completing the project, which is why it was imperative that we constantly reported back to the client through photos and videos. In fact, we even set up a live feed of our construction work for them to tune into and keep an eye on what was being worked on!

Completing the project in less than two months, our team successfully installed the new flooring while minimizing disruption, all while keeping our communication at an all time high. CIC understands the importance of discretion and flexibility, which is why we created a customized game plan specifically for this project. We want every client to feel their needs are being met, and will do whatever it takes to ensure that. Every renovation project is different, so naturally the process can’t be cookie-cutter.
