11 March, 2021Time is valuable for all involved when it comes to renovation projects—especially in the early designing phases when trying to avoid potential rework. We at CIC understand the need for implementing new technology to make the renovation process as smooth as possible, which is why we have integrated the use of advanced 3D rendering services on all of our projects. These renderings provide a complete idea of the project by utilizing exact dimensions based on photos of the original space. The ability to view the final proposed project helps our clients see it come to life in “real time” as well as finalize all necessary design elements.
For many of our projects, including most of our recent ones due to COVID-19, our meetings have been conducted online. Unfortunately, this opens the door to potential design miscommunication. Thanks to our our 3D rendering services however, this is almost completely mitigated, as we are able to show the client exactly how their project will look, phase by phase.
An example of this can be seen in our project article chronicling our work on The Crest Hotel. This scenario was one in which the client was not on-site and not able to meet with us, meaning all communication was online. As the client was not confident enough to move forward without having an idea of the direction of the project, we provided them with our 3D rendering. With this, we turned their design direction into a complete preview of their project. Once the client approved the rendering, we went ahead and broke ground on the project. The client was very pleased to find the final result an exact replica of the original rendering!
Along with providing peace of mind, these 3D renderings can be helpful for our team as they can review potential construction issues before they happen. The investment in this technology has helped our team avoid problems that could further setback the project, and essentially create a framework for how the project will be completed down to every detail—including finishes and trims.
Our team at CIC is consistently striving to innovate, including implementing new technology with the power to further serve our clients. 3D renderings can cut down on potential miscommunication, streamline the timeline of the project, and ease client worry by fully demonstrating the completed project.
