14 November, 2021“Small but mighty” has always been the CIC creed—especially when it comes to strategizing, visualizing, and managing larger projects throughout Miami, including out most recent at the Luma Condominiums.
Establishing new working relationships with clients can be difficult for some when trying to win a bid on a project; doubly so if it’s of a higher caliber than you’re used to taking on. However, the CIC team has years of experience pitching, winning, and completing larger projects in the tri-county area. A majority of buildings throughout Miami are on the larger scale, which granted us the necessary experience for this project—with some of our previous projects including the Miami Marlins Stadium and Crest Hotel. For this undertaking, the client insisted they work with a small business who had specialized expertise in larger projects—so naturally, our team was the perfect fit.
To complete this job, we partnered up with a larger contractor through a joint venture, working to finish the common areas and doorways in this 38,000 sq. ft., 60-story building. Our design crew decided on a carpet tile with custom inserts at each of the door frames. Thanks to advancements in technology like our 3D Rendering systems, creating a customized plan was a snap for our clients, whose vision we were able to render in real time, showcasing the end result of their project.

Once we had approval to move forward, we leveraged the expertise of both teams and went to work. Everyone buckled down and went non-stop until completion.
