The Oculus is a stunning installation located in the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami.
This impressive structure stands at the entrance of the museum and is made up of 56 steel arches that curve gracefully toward each other, creating an oval shape. The arches are adorned with over 980 panes of glass, allowing natural light to flood into the museum. At night, the Oculus is illuminated with a stunning display of colorful lights that dance across the steel and glass. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the Oculus from both inside and outside the museum, and it serves as a symbol of the museum’s commitment to innovation and exploration.
It is an immense pleasure to work alongside people that share our environmental values. That is why we selected Shaw Industries as the manufacturer one of the largest carpet companies in the world. With headquarters in Dalton, Georgia, Shaw is known for its commitment to sustainability, using environmentally-friendly materials and production methods in its products.
We used almost 230 Square Yards of Broadloom carpet, also known as wall-to-wall carpet, the ideal product for its purpose.
